The following Registration Program is open and available:

Fall Intramural Sports (Grades 1-4). CYO Registration is now closed (Grades 4-8).

Go to the "Register Online" tab on the left taskbar and click on this. You will need to scroll down on the registration page thereafter to the selection box. If you or your family do not have a password you will as a first time user need to create one.

If you need to update your profile, click on the "Registration" tab on the left on the home page. If your child participated in a Fall, Winter and/or Spring sport in 2009-2010, your family information is maintained on the system and you will not be required to input duplicate information. Please use your existing password to begin registration for the fall. Please do not go through the entire registration process a second time. This creates a duplicate profile within the system. Also, for registration prior to July 1, please take careful note in the instructions as to what grade you idntify your child as a member of.

Gesu Boosters and the Athletic Director are pleased to advise that due to the support of countless parents, sponsors and friends of our student athletes, participation fees will not increase in the 2010 - 2011 season and the customary $30.00 fee for Family Registration will not be charged for the 2010-2011 sports season.

For participation in CYO sports during the 2010 – 2011 Fall, Winter or Spring season, submission of the physical form and release is mandatory. Please print the applicable form which is available on this site for completion by you and your medical provider. This is due before any participation including practice for the safety of your child. The forms can be dropped off in person to Brian at his office in the Family Center or speak directly with him for other options. For the Fall 2010 CYO season, medical forms are due Friday July 20, 2010.

Remember, the physical form is valid for 13 months from the date of examination. For participation in Gesu Intramural programs, the physical form is not required.

GESU CORNHOLE CLASSIC II - SEPTEMBER 18, 2010 - LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER

Less than 10 foursomes remain available for the 2nd Annual Gesu Boosters Cornhole Classic, which will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 6PM-12 AM. Back by popular demand, the Classic is a Bean Bag Tournament and Social Event sponsored by the Gesu Boosters in support of Gesu's athletic programs and student athletes. Not a player? Don't let that keep you from attending. For only $25 you can attend the event as a Bag Watcher and enjoy the food, beverages, music, side games, raffles and prizes. College football will also be projected in both gyms. Don't miss what will surely be a great party to kick off the new school year and welcome the fall season.

To register your team or sign up as a Bag Watcher simply log on to the Gesu Athletic Website (www.gesubulldogs.com) and click on the "Cornhole Classic II Registration" link on the left-hand side of the home page. Then just follow the prompts to register and submit payment directly through our secure website. 	Virtus and Fingerprinting at Gesu

Anyone interested in coaching or volunteering in Gesu Intramural and CYO sports must have the Virtus program and fingerprinting complete. Gesu will be hosting this program on September 9, 2010. If you are currently coaching or think you will be coaching in the future please sign up for this program. You only need to do it one time and the Gesu Booster Club will reimburse you for any costs you incur. In addition to the class and fingerprinting, there is some paperwork that is needed as well. Those forms can be found on www.gesu.com under the "Parent Volunteer Information" tab. Please print these, fill them out and return to me.

If you have taken the virtus class and do not know if you have the fingerprinting or paperwork complete, please email me or call me and I can look it up.

Important Virtus Training and Fingerprinting Dates for Volunteers Working with Gesu Children:

Virtus Training at Gesu will be held on Thursday, September 9, 6:30p.m. until 9pm in McAuley Hall. Please register by calling the Parish Office at 216-932-0617. You also need to go online to www.virtus.org to register for the training and to receive the required periodic email readings. If you attended a Virtus training session in the past, you do not need to repeat the training.

Fingerprinting for Gesu volunteers- bring your driver's license and know your Social Security number, to John Carroll University basement of the Student Center, room 14 (park at Gesu). Fingerprinting will begin at 5:30pm on September 7 and at 5:30pm on September 8. Please call Gesu Parish Office for an appointment to avoid everyone coming at the same time creating a waiting line.

These are the critical dates for those who wish to work four or more hours a month, or more than once a month with the children of our Parish. You will not be able to begin coaching or other volunteering with children at Gesu until you have complied with these Diocesan requirements.
